bug reports

each version of æstats⁺⁺ released will very probably still have some bugs left, for you my gentle testers to unearth ;).

if you find any, please send me an email with details:

some tips to make life easier for you and me:

• clearly state the version of the æstats⁺⁺ package.
  simply run any one of the executable modules without a command line parameter, to find out about the version number. and make sure you are using the latest version from this site's files section.

• state the platform you are using.
  e.g. linux (debian, s.u.s.e., redhat), windows 95/98/2000, nt4, xp, xp pro, ...

• mention the name of the game/mod you are trying to generate stats for. e.g. mention the command line parameters you are using.

• provide the log file that causes the problem.
  please do some testing. try to narrow it down to the lines that actually cause the problem. please zip the log file(s) (see the send logs page) before sending them in.

• mention other details that might help me find/reproduce the bug. e.g. and configuration files you changed.

• don't send me core dumps, since they are of no use to me.
