æon's... fun with 1st person shooters...
the æon's site features my latest maps for quake ii, half-life, quake 3
arena, and far cry, wallpapers for quite a few games, and some real world
info... it is also portal to the sites æstats, æstats++ (both game
stats tools), unreal, nostalgia, and now the æon's rpgs site.

two days ago the migration of all my sub-sites was completed, they should hopefully all work properly.

aeon's at hugelaser.com - now online
day one of æon's being online here at hugelaser.com, hopefully the site is completely functional.
note: the sub-sites are *not* yet online at this site, they are still over at pq.
aeon's - site updates
updating and cleaning up the code for the new site, i started adding a few new features along the way:
- hugelaser.com features a more convenient direct "local" download mechanism via ftp.
- the primary mirror for all files now is hugelaser.com.
- the old fileplanet download links are still available as secondary mirrors.
- the wallpaper preview images (640x) shown in the
picture viewer window now let you directly download the images in full quality (hi-res) via hugelaser.com ftp.
- the maps and wallpapers pages now have a table of contents to help navigate the many entries.
- updated the features and about æon pages.

aeon's migrating to hugelaser.com
since the hosting service on planetquake will be discontinued, æon's and all its sub-sites will migrate to hugelaser.com - the new, friendly hosting community. and i would like to specifically thank alex 'raptor' dobie for providing this wonderful hosting service. you will find all my sites here:

since the hosting environment is similar, there should not be any problems with my content... i hope. should you find that something is not properly working, simply drop me a line:

planetquake shutting down hosting services
again, alas nothing in the internet will last forever, this is also true for the hosting by planetquake.com. as many of you will probably be aware the hosting of community sites will be discontinued on august 31st 2009, so be sure to update your bookmarks to my sites, as mentioned above.
i would like to thank the folks at planetquake for all those many years of reliable and competent hosting, your efforts were very much appreciated.

aeon's now has a new site email
alas nothing in the internet is built to last and that is also true for my good old - now dead - email address: aeon(-a.t-)planetquake.com. as it is, i am very thankful to the folks at planetquake for making it possible to use it for such a long time. now the new site email is:

note that [-a.t=) and (-a.t-) are less parsable placeholders for @.
